Cake Care & Cutting Guide
Cake Care & Cutting Guide
Always carry cake by bottom of the box, avoid pushing the sides of the box. |
During travel ensure cake stays level not tilted. The car floor or flat boot is best. Make sure the air conditioner is on. During summer seasons our cakes need to be kept cool at all times. |
Keep cake in a refrigerator or air-conditioned room and do not remove cake from the cake box while in the fridge. |
Allow cake to come to room temperature in cake box before serving. 30 min- 1 hours in warm/hot weather, 1-2 hours in cooler weather. Drastic temperature rise may cause cake to sweat. Avoid direct sunlight and heat. |
Remove all inedible decorations before cutting. Please note fondant models may contain toothpicks, wires or other supports, be cautious. |
How to cut your cake
1. With a board/plate placed nearby, cut a slice down the side of the cake.2. Lay the cut piece on the board and cut into smaller individual slices.3. Repeat with the rest of the cake, serve and enjoy. |
