1. Cancellation and Refund Policy: All orders are final. We do not accept cancellations or issue refunds. If you do not arrive at the scheduled collection time, you will still be charged for your order. Unfortunately, we cannot reschedule your collection to a different date or time.

2. Cake Care: Once the cake departs from our premises, it is the customer's responsibility. Please refer to our Cake Care page for detailed handling instructions.

3. Orders: Your order will be processed as it was placed. If you wish to make changes, please provide detailed instructions in the notes section at checkout. Please note that significant modifications may incur additional costs. For more information, feel free to email us.

4. Pricing
All prices displayed on our website are in Rands and are subject to change without prior notice. The prices you see for our cakes and other products are final for standard orders.

Wedding Cakes: Due to the complexity and custom nature of wedding cakes, they are priced higher than regular cakes. Pricing for wedding cakes will be provided upon a custom cake inquiry and may vary depending on design, size, and specific requests. Wedding cakes are only available for delivery. We do not offer pickup services for wedding cakes. A delivery fee will be applied based on the delivery location. This fee will be calculated based on distance from our bakery to the event venue.

5. Responsibility for Damage: We are not liable for any damage or deterioration of the cake resulting from unfavourable conditions or improper storage at the venue, including adverse weather conditions or proximity to fireplaces.

6. Transport Considerations: We are not responsible for any damage caused during transport due to poor road conditions. Please notify us of any adverse conditions so that we may take appropriate precautions where possible.

7. Collection Policy: We offer collection only; delivery is not available. Should you require delivery, please contact us via email at least 14 days prior to your event to inquire about availability and avoid potential disappointment. Ensure that you collect your cake at the scheduled time as specified during checkout.

8. Allergen Information: All cakes, fillings, and icings may contain or come into contact with soy, wheat, dairy, nuts, or other allergens. It is the customer's responsibility to disclose any allergy concerns prior to confirming the booking and to inform their guests of potential allergens. The Cupcake Tarts disclaims any liability for allergic reactions resulting from cake consumption.

9. Intellectual Property: Designs and logos created by The Cupcake Tarts remain our intellectual property and may not be published, sold, printed, or otherwise distributed without prior consent. Additionally, designs must not be altered or damaged during styled photoshoots or published without our approval.

10. Privacy and Data Protection: We treat all personal information with the utmost confidentiality and will not disclose any details to third parties without explicit consent.
